The Dreaming Street is an eclectic recording project stemming from the mind of songwriter & keyboardist Cyrus Rua (Cast in Bronze). The project features a diverse array of musicians from all over the world, including frontman Josiah Ruff, a well-respected Miami Gospel artist, as well as Nick D'Virgilio (Genesis, Tears for Fears), John Avila (Oingo Boingo), Jean-Michael Sutcliffe, Joni Fuller, Devarian "Shaddow" Rose, Ross McCrae, Ralph Heineck, Eric Bolvin and Kenny Walker (Little Richard). The music echoes the classic sound of artists as diverse as Ray Charles, Phil Collins or Earth, Wind & Fire, but with some modern sensibilities and an immediate, relatable feel. Influenced by the funky music they grew up listening to, but not beholden to it, The Dreaming Street's exciting debut cd was released in October 2016.
